INTRODUCTION
In October 2022, Flowbird partnered with NYCDOT,
the New York City Department of Transportation, to launch the ParkNYC app, a city-branded mobile solution for on-street parking payments. This user-friendly app allows drivers to pay for parking directly from their mobile devices. As part of this upgrade, NYCDOT selected Flowbird to upgrade 14,000 Strada pay stations to Strada Street Smart with Pay-by-Plate functionality.

Flowbird HUB centralizes and streamlines NYCDOT’s parking management across 14,000 terminals, integrating mixed terminal types (Strada Neops and Strada Touch) into one platform for alarms, coin collection, sales, and ticket data.
