Planet extends its strategic partnership with Flowbird to provide parking payments services across Europe

Planet, a global provider of integrated payments and technology solutions, has announced a three-year contract extension with Flowbird, a global leader in urban mobility, offering advanced solutions in parking, transport and mobile services. Flowbird’s leading solutions span 6,000 cities across 80 countries, processing over two billion parking and transport transactions every year.

Building on the existing partnership, this new agreement significantly expands Planet’s role from
providing payments gateway services, to delivering a comprehensive range of payments solutions across both card-present and ecommerce channels.
The partnership will streamline payment processes through Flowbird’s mobility apps, parking meters and transport ticket vending machines, offering a unified solution across all payment
options including unattended terminals, EV charging stations and digital transactions.
Customers will also benefit from enhanced payments security and fraud prevention, offline authorisation and a dedicated Flowbird support programme.

Through the partnership, Flowbird is now able to offer a full range of flexible payment methods
including all major cards, local payment methods and digital wallets.
